Veterans from across Missouri will gather at Stockton Lake Oct. 6-8 for three days of fishing and outdoor activities during the eighth annual Tournament of Warriors.

Trent-Sallee American Legion Post 230 and Orleans Trail Resort will host Camp Valor Outdoors for the event, with local Stockton fishermen volunteering as guides.

Camp Valor Outdoors, a nonprofit veterans organization based in Kingsville, Missouri, honors and supports ill, injured and wounded disabled veterans, active-duty service members and their families. The 100% volunteer-run and funded organization has established a working relationship with Post 230 in Stockton.

The Post 230 Auxiliary will provide meals during the three-day event, which will conclude with a fish fry.
