Last Tuesday, the Stockton Tigers opened the 2024 portion of their basketball schedule, hosting the Marionville Comets. Due to ongoing upgrades at Stockton High School, the game was moved to Stockton Middle School, the home of the Tigers from 1966 to 2008. With a touch of nostalgia in the air, the game was the Southwest Conference opener for both teams. The Comets and Tigers were coming off of losses, hoping to start the new year on the right foot.
