Posted

June 8, 1942-June 21, 2019

Betty June (Hoerning) Clark was born June 18, 1942. She went to heaven on June 21, 2019, just a few days after celebrating her 77th birthday.

Welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, whom she had accepted into her heart at an early age, she left life on this earth as she lived it — holding the hands and hearts of those she loved at her daughter’s home in Fairview, Tennessee.
Betty graduated from Stockton High School in 1960 and married soon after. Her first marriage brought three daughters which were her pride and joy.
On February 13, 1981, Betty married Robert (Bob) Clark and her family grew to include three more children which she cared for like her own.

For more than 30 years, Betty and Bob operated Clark’s Furniture Store in Humansville and served the local community.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Kathy O’Connor and husband Howard of Stockton; Debbie Burns and husband Robbin of Stockton; and Patti Killingsworth and husband Alan of Fairview, Tennessee; Brenda Tucker and husband Tommy of Humansville; Andy Clark and wife Janet of Plato; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Anna Lee Neal and husband Fletcher of Bolivar; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Clark; parents Mabel and Delbert Hoerning; stepson, Gary Clark; grandson, Jensen Killingsworth; and nephew, Tim Spangler.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m., Thursday, June 27, and a celebration of her life and love will be held at 11 a.m., both at Stockton Christian Church.

Burial in Stockton Cemetery will immediately follow and arrangements are under the direction of Bland-Brumback funeral home.
