Voters across Cedar County went to the polls Tuesday, Aug. 7, to cast ballots for local candidates in addition to those seeking state and federal offices as part of a general primary election. Additionally, there were several issues voters had a chance to vote on, including right-to-work proposals and sales tax collection.

Check for up-to-date results online at www.CedarRepublican.com after the election and Wednesday, Aug. 8. Next week, look for a detailed review of the local elections and how Cedar County residents voted on referendums and federal offices by political party.
