More than 80 runners/walkers enjoyed near perfect weather on Saturday morning, June 1, as they took off for The Dam Run in Stockton. Those in attendance chose either the 5k or 1-mile fun run. Brian Hammons was the first to finish.

Stephanie Mears and her team from the Cedar County Exercise Center, a service of Cedar County Memorial Hospital, kept things in perfect order for everyone.

The event was a fundraiser for the exercise center to help with equipment purchases and upgrades.

Karen Morgan donated a gift of essential oils to the participants, along with their shirts and visors.

Thanks to T-shirt sponsors Bland-Brumback Funeral Home, Busy Bees Learning Academy LLC, Great Southern Bank, Harmon Tree Service LLC, Lakeside Interiors, Mid-Missouri Bank, Mid-Missouri Insurance Agency, Missouri Home, Farm and Land Realty, Picky Hair, Simmons Bank, Softball Santa, Spurgeon Yachts, Stockton Farmers Exchange, Stockton License Office, Superior Gearbox, Tandem Fly Outfitters, The Bait Shop, The Oil Diva and Thornton Natural Healthcare.
