Three KOPS and 14 TOPS met and weighed in Tuesday, June 4, at Freewill Baptist Church. Kathy B. was the best loser for the week. Sue won the popsicle contest, but no one won the lose-to-win contest. We sang Happy Birthday to Marci.

Carol gave the treasurer’s report. The beginning balance was $375.14, income for the month was $142.95, expenses were $161.20 and the RD fund was $33.75 for a total bank balance of $390.64.

This was awards night. The best loser for the month of May was Stacey, who lost 16 pounds. Earning 100 points were Melissa and Marci. Having perfect attendance for 12 weeks were Lynette, Kathy B. and Alma.

Maddie explained the Masquerade Ball summer contest and the fall rally will have that theme. It was also the start of the Mardi Gras contest in our own chapter. We have six teams and we drew names. We also have to fix a snack for our members to sample different spices.

Maddie read a funny story and then it was time for the thought for the week: Be so happy that when others look at you, they become happy too.
