Two teenage boys from El Dorado Springs sustained moderate injuries in an accident occurring at 8:53 p.m. Friday, June 28, on south 1425 Road approximately eight miles east of El Dorado.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened as Elmer A. Perdomo, 16, driving a 1990 Ford Ranger, crossed the center of the roadway to avoid another vehicle. The truck traveled off the left side of the northbound roadway and overturned.

Perdomo and a passenger, Lunden O. Messick, 15, sustained moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Cedar County Memorial Hospital. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.

The identity of the other vehicle and its driver are unknown.
