The El Dorado Springs Municipal Band will play from 8-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Aug. 3-4, at the bandstand as usual. We hope to have a crowd of folks who enjoy listening to our music and visiting with their friends in the park.

Friday program: “Burr’s Triumphal March,” “Band of America,” “Ohio Division,” “Indiana State Band,” “Solvejg’s Song,” “True Blue,” “Trombone,” “Polka,” “Tenor Sax Choice,” “Roundtable March,” “Anchors Aweigh,” “Yellow Rose of Texas” and “God Bless America.”

Saturday program: “Drake Relays,” “Down by The Riverside,” “Liberty Bell,” “Children of the Shrine,” “Lights Out,” “Colonel Bogey,” “Sells-Floto Triumphal,” “Trumpet Choice,” “Under the Double Eagle,” “Merry Widow Waltz,” “Rakes of Mallow,” “Manhattan Beach” and “God Bless America.”

We will not play Sunday, Aug. 5. Instead, we will be out at Community Springs Nursing Home playing for the residents at our regular program time of 2 p.m. Program: “The Band Played On,” “When The Saints Go Marching In,” “Amazing Grace,” “Missouri Waltz,” “You Are My Sunshine,” “Hello Dolly,” “76 Trombones,” “Tennessee Waltz,” “Ramblin’ Rose,” “Swing Low,” “Pretty Baby,” “Kansas City,” “God Bless America” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Come on out to listen to your band this weekend. We’ll have some great songs that will make you tap your toes in time to the music. We hope to see our faithful listeners.
