DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
Section 1- Dempsey Drive Drainage Improvements
Section 2- Maplewood Street Drainage Improvements

Sealed Bids for the CITY OF ROGERSVILLE, MISSOURI, DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT will be received by the City of Rogersville, Missouri at the office of the City Administrator, 211 Center, Rogersville, MO 65742 until 2:00 pm local time on May 16, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
SECTION 1 - DEMPSEY DRIVE DRAIANGE IMPROVEMENTS
Dempsey Drive Drainage Improvements shall consist of the construction of approximately 975 square yards of 6" thick concrete paved ditch, 202 linear feet of 24" RCP stormwater piping, 20 linear feet of 10" gravity sewer replacement, 8" waterline lowering, 66 linear feet of 2' x 4' reinforced concrete box culvert, riprap pad, traffic control, surface replacement including concrete driveways, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt roadway replacement, seeding and mulching along with all necessary appurtenances.
SECTION 2 - MAPLEWOOD STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
Maplewood Street Drainage Improvements shall consist of the construction of approximately 112 square yards of 6" thick concrete paved ditch, 71 linear feet of 15" x 21" arched CMP, one concrete yard inlet, connection to an existing concrete channel, surface replacement along with all necessary appurtenances.
Bids will be received on an individual project basis. Bidder may bid on either of both sections. Bids shall be on a unit price and lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Digital download cost is $30.00 which may be paid online via a credit card. Hard copies of Drawings and Specifications may be secured for a non-refundable fee in the amount of $100.00 per set from the Issuing Office of Allgeier, Martin and Associates at 600 West College, Springfield, MO 65806 on Mondays through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or by telephone at (417) 862-3355. If paying for hard copies by credit card, contact Cindy Olds at 417-680-7193. An additional processing fee of $10.00 shall apply to all credit card transactions.
PLEASE NOTE: It is the sole responsibility of all planholders, whether or not they have received digital downloads or paper copies of the specifications, to return to the Allgeier, Martin website Plan Room (www.amce.com) periodically to check for Addenda which may have been posted. Neither the Owner nor Engineer have any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness or sufficiency of bid information obtained from sources other than as indicated in these documents. Obtaining these documents from any other source(s) may result in incomplete and inaccurate information and may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to these documents that may be issued and to be placed on the planholders list. Any bid received from a bidder whose name does not appear on the list of planholders at the office of Allgeier, Martin and Associates will be subject to rejection.
Each bidder shall file with his bid a cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond for 5 percent of the total amount of the bid made payable to the City of Rogersville, Missouri, herein after referred to as Owner.
The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided, acceptable to the Owner in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, in conformity with the requirements in the General Conditions.
Wage rates paid on construction work for this project shall be in compliance with Division of Labor Standards of Missouri. Prevailing wage rates as determined by the Division of Labor Standards of Missouri shall be paid on all bids $75,000.00 and above.
Contract time will be as specified in the Bid Form.
No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 60 days after the date fixed for opening bids.
Bidders are informed that pursuant to Section 285.530 RSMO, as a condition of the award of any contract in excess of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), the bidder shall, by sworn affidavit and provision of documentation, affirm its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection to the contracted services. Bidders shall also sign an affidavit affirming that is does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection to the contracted services.
Bidders are informed that the Project is subject to the requirements of Section 292.675, RSMO, which requires all contractors and subcontractors doing work on the Project to provide, and require its on-site employees to complete a ten (10) hour course in construction safety and health approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("OSHA") or a similar program provide by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. The training must be completed within sixty (60) days of the date work on the Project commences. On-site employees found on the worksite without documentation of the required training shall have twenty (20) days to produce such documentation.
