Students of the month – September 2026

The presentation of the “Student of the Month” award goes to one girl and one boy from Stockton High School. This award will be given each month during the 2026-27 school year to recognize Stockton High School students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements in extracurricular activities, academics, leadership, good citizenship, service to their school and service to the community.

The sponsors, Simmons Bank and The Cedar County Republican, would like to introduce the Stockton High School Students of the Month for September.

The boy receiving the Student of the Month award for September is Ty Hansen. Ty is a senior at Stockton High School and the son of Jarred and Breannah Hansen.

Ty is or has been a member of: Football, track, FCCLA, FBLA, Leadership, NHS and St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.

The girl receiving the Student of the Month award for September is Lillie Burchett. Lillie is a senior at Stockton High School and the daughter of Brett and Jill Burchett.

Lillie is or has been a member of: Cross country, basketball, track, Student Council, Leadership, FCCLA and NHS.
