The 2019 track season concluded for the Stockton Tigers as their top athletes competed in the Missouri Class 2 state championships Friday-Saturday, May 17-18, at Jefferson City High School.

Stockton’s best finish was in the girls’ 800 meters, where senior Luella Bradshaw finished third with a time of 2:25.81.

The boys earned points as the 4x800-meter relay took fourth and senior Bryson Coulter was seventh at 1,600 meters. Final results of all Stockton athletes follow.

Girls

800 M: 3. Luella Bradshaw, 2:25.81.

4x800 M Relay: 13. Stockton (Luella Bradshaw, Emma Sullivan, Shanae Potts, Sarrah Hottes), 10:57.14.

Boys

800 M: 16. Kyle Saulters, 2:10.60.

1600 M: 7. Bryson Coulter, 4:37.65.

3200 M: 11. Tyler Adams, 11:11.18

4x400 M Relay: 14. Stockton (Kyle Saulters, Jason Bradshaw, Bryson Coulter, Aaron Merrick), 3:42.12.

4x800 M Relay: 4: Stockton (Bryson Coulter, Tyler Adams, Wyatt Colgrove, Kyle Saulters), 8:31.87.

Long Jump: 16. Jason Bradshaw, 17’ 9.25”.

Triple Jump: 9. Jason Bradshaw, 41’ 8”.

El Dorado Springs at sectionals

The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs ran in the Class 3 Sectional 4 meet Saturday, May 18, at Odessa. The top four finishers in each event qualify for the state meet this weekend in Jefferson City. A severe thunderstorm late in the day forced a suspension of some events until Monday, May 20.

Bulldog coach Brian Goatley said, “This day would give some challenging weather as we went in and out of delays several times due to weather conditions and lightning, but the team I thought did well with going with the flow and rolling with it.”

El Dorado had five athletes move on with several others just missing the cut in fifth place.

Girls

800 M: 4. Morgan Mitchell, 2:35.93.

Boys


1600 M: 1. Daelen Ackley, 4:31.56.

3200 M: 2. Daelen Ackley, 9:48.81.

Javelin: 1. Shelby McKinney, 157’ 8”; 2. Brayden Housh, 151’ 9”.

Pole vault: 2. Ethan Parshall, 14’; 3. Brayden Housh, 14’.
