After coming off a district championship against El Dorado Springs, Stockton (18-9) went to win with a last minute offensive play in the first round of sectionals against Conway (27-4), Monday, May 25, 2-1.

El Dorado Springs did something no other baseball team has done this season. They defeated the Lamar Tigers.

It’s been four years since Stockton was at the district championships for baseball, but yet, it was the team’s plan all along.

The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs began their week with a 4-3 win over Walnut Grove (16-3) Tuesday, May 5.

With two back-to-back wins against conference competitors, the Stockton Tigers took the lead in the conference 3-0, winning over both Ash Grove and Strafford by 10-0.

After three games during the week, the Stockton Tigers advanced to 7-1 on the season and start out with a win in the Mid-Lakes Conference with 1-0.

After completing the game coach Darin Henderson calls “probably the best we have played all year,” the Stockton Tigers are on their way to the conference title.

In a fight against Miller’s top pitchers, the Stockton Tigers (1-0) came out victorious Friday, March 20, at Miller with a 5-3 win.

Scott Cluck, area supervisor for Casey’s General Stores, presents a check for $1,000 to coach Jarrod Mays and the Bulldog baseball team. The funds are part of Casey’s Charitable Giving program, and will be used to help fund a new press box for the baseball field.

From the first inning, Stockton took the lead against El Dorado Springs Monday, March 30, with a win for the Tigers 10-0.

The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs started their season with one win and one loss Saturday, March 21, at Cassville.
