Monday, May 21: Officers responded to a larceny at 805 S. Jackson St. The investigation revealed the theft of eight 15-foot pieces of brown roof tin. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to a protection order violation in the 500 block of W. Fields St., Lucien Carter Ball Park. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sheri L. Proctor, 63, El Dorado Springs, charging her with violations of an adult ex parte order of protection and a child protection order. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Tuesday, May 22: Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of S. Forrest St. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Clifford W. Short, 55, El Dorado Springs, for a Polk County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no seatbelt, with a $50 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to a disturbance at 222 W. Hickory St. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Chelsea D. Wegner, 25, and Korey L. Wegner, 31, El Dorado Springs, charging them with disturbing the peach by fighting. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Wednesday, May 23: Officers arrested Kristena D. Bailey, 39, Gladstone, for an El Dorado Springs municipal warrant, charging her with failure to appear for no license plate, with a $75.50 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers arrested Kara G. Miles, 30, Nevada, for a Cedar County probation violation warrant on the original charges of four counts of forgery, and no bond; a parole violation warrant on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance, with no bond; a Henry County warrant charging her with possession of a controlled substance, with a $5,000 cash bond; and an El Dorado Springs municipal warrant charging her with failure to appear per court order, with a $562.50 bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearances.

Officers responded to a peace disturbance at 801 E. Gentry St. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jessica D. Beard, 26, El Dorado Springs, for a Barton County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of a traffic offense, with a bond of $107. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Thursday, May 24: Officers arrested Leslie C. Houts, 48, El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs municipal warrant charging him with failure to appear, with a $251.50 bond; and a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of possession of marijuana, with a $500 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearances.

Officers responded to a report of an assault in process involving a baseball bat and a vehicle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Victor E. Stone, 50, El Dorado Springs, for the probable causes of second-degree assault, first-degree burglary, driving while revoked, driving while intoxicated and armed criminal action. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Stone with a class B Felony of driving while intoxicated, with a $10,000 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. Additional charges are expected in this case.

Officers arrested Gerald R. Wilson, 48, Nevada, for a Vernon County warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine, with a $7,500 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers arrested Ecko M. Wilson, 34, Nevada, for a Vernon County warrant charging her with possession of methamphetamine, with a $7,500 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to a protection order violation in the 500 block of W. Fields St., Lucien Carter Ball Park. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Vincent R. Mansell, 37, El Dorado Springs, charging him with a protection order violation. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Friday, May 25: Officers arrested Joseph A. Fritts, 24, El Dorado Springs, charging him with obstruction, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Fritts also had a Vernon County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charges of speeding and no seat belt with a $136 cash bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending court appearances.

Saturday, May 26: Officers responded to a domestic assault at 216 W. Hickory. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers arrested Lauren G. Thornton, 26, Jerico Springs, for an El Dorado Springs municipal warrant charging her with failure to appear per court order on the original charges of dog regulation, no insurance and wrong plates, with a $427.50 bond. She received summonses for obstruction, possession of drug paraphernalia and was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

Monday, May 28: Officers responded to a disturbance at 201 E. Twyman St. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Mistie D. Fanelli, 42, El Dorado Springs, charging her with fourth-degree assault. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Tuesday, May 29: Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated subject at 200 McCrary Circle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tyler P. Poore, 35, El Dorado Springs, an an El Dorado Springs municipal warrant charging him with failure to appear per court order on possession of drug paraphernalia, with a $301 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Wednesday, May 30: Officers responded to a reported larceny at 200 S. Park. The investigation revealed the theft of four rings. A suspect has been identified, a report was taken and the investigation continues.

Officers arrested Darren Edmiston, 19, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of passing bad checks, with a $200 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Officers arrested Amber D. Dewitt, 25, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging her with failure to appear with the original charge of passing a bad check, with a $250 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Thursday, May 31: Officers arrested Melissa A. Stone, 31, El Dorado Springs, for a Pulaski County warrant charging her with stealing leased property, with a $1,000 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to a disturbance at 500 E. Fields Street. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Eli J. Hancock, 37, El Dorado Springs, charging him with disturbing the peace and throwing objects. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to a burglary at 1405 S. Jackson. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Friday, June 1: Officers responded to an attempted larceny at 207 W. Fields. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 103 Radio Lane. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Darcy E. Roberts, 39, El Dorado Springs, charging her with third-degree domestic assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Sunday, June 3: Officers responded to a burglary at 303 S. Belisle. The investigation revealed forced entry was made to the residence and a keyboard was stolen.  A report was taken and the investigation continues.

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
