Dear Editor,

I would like to say a few words about our people in Stockton.

Three weeks ago, I went to Woods Supermarket. My husband Jim was with me. He went to the pharmacy and I went to the fresh fruit section. He still was at the pharmacy, so I put my two little sacks on top of the car and started to the bench in front of the store. Our car was locked.

While I was headed toward the bench, I stepped on something and began to fall. I was down on the concrete. My knees were bruised, my shoulder was hurt and my hands took the fall worst of all.

There were so many kind people who came to me and wanted to help me. They were so sincere and sorry for me. Thank you all for being so kind. This is what Stockton has in their hearts. Thank you for reading this.
