Born January 24, 1943, Truman Boyd Brown, Fair Play, was called home June 14, 2019, at 76 years, 4 months, 22 days of age.
He was born in Arizona to Betty Sue and Truman Paul Brown. He lived in several different states, and until he met and married his wife, Ruby Hayward Wilson, Truman had never lived in one place more than six months at a time.
He served his country in Germany and Vietnam.
In 1978, he met the last half of his heart when he was introduced to Ruby Hayward Wilson. Together they raised her, his and their children; 11 children, 59 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and even a few great-great-grandchildren.
Truman and Ruby faithfully served the Lord together.
Visitation will be held 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, Bland-Brumback Funeral Home, Stockton.
Services are 10 a.m., Thursday, June 20, Harvest Assembly Church, Fair Play, with burial to follow in Lindley Prairie Cemetery, Stockton, with full military honors.In In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Missouri Veterans Home or the American Cancer Society are encouraged.
