Feb. 23, 1927-Feb. 21, 2019
Kenneth Calvin Todd was born to Ira and Gladys (McCall) Todd on February 23, 1927 in Wiley, Colorado. He was saved as a young man at Stockton Missionary Baptist Church and went home to be with the Lord just before his 92nd birthday, on February 21, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Kenneth was raised in the Omer community south of Stockton. He treasured memories of a childhood spent among an extended family with children of similar ages. Kenneth graduated from Stockton High School in 1945 and attended Missouri State University in Springfield for one year, before serving two years in the U.S Army.
He graduated from the University of Kansas City School of Medicine in 1961. He worked at Watkins Drug Store on the Plaza in Kansas City and then in St. Louis as a hospital pharmacist, before moving to Arizona. In Tucson he continued working as a hospital pharmacist. He enjoyed weekends in Pine Top and traveling.
Kenneth was a loving son, who made regular trips home to see his mother, often having some project to do for her. He always tried to see as many friends and relatives as possible and loved to visit and laugh about old times.
He is survived by his brother James, sister-in-law Claudia Todd, and niece Laurie Todd all of Spring Hill, Florida, and nephews Mark Todd of El Dorado Springs and Bret Todd of Ohau, Hawaii. He will also be missed by old friends in Arizona, his aunt, Nadine Cooper, cousins, and friends in Overland Park, Kansas and Stockton.
His final resting place is at East Lawn Palms Cemetery and Mortuary, Tucson, Arizona. (11c)
