Helen M. Nash

Helen M. Nash was born in Yankton, South Dakota, on June 30, 1936, to Ben and Marie Branaugh. She was married at the age of 18 to Claude Nash and they had three children; Kelly, Carolyn and Max.

Helen accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She attended church at Dunnegan Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Claude worked construction and helped build the Stockton Dam and other projects; and Helen was a housewife and a Nurse. She welcomed children in her home as her own. She was a lover of all dogs and animals.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude; daughter Carolyn; son, Kelly; sister, Ethel Sowell; and brother, Richard (Dick) Branaugh.

She is survived by her son Max; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Richard Sowell; aunt, Mildred Branaugh; and several grandchildren.

Helen passed away March 25, 2019, at Northwood Hills Care Center in Humansville.

A visitation was held 1 p.m., followed by funeral services, Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton. Burial was in Lindley Prairie Cemetery, Bear Creek.
