Mrs. Geraldene “Jerrie” Golden Lynch, 85, Dunnegan, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, at Mercy Hospital Springfield. She was born September 15, 1933, in Dunnegan, to Jasper Noah and Ada Mae (Fox) Dixon. She was united in marriage to James Ethmer Lynch, August 3, 1951.
Jerrie was devoted to her genealogy, having published 3 books.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Karen Diane Lynch; Six brothers and sisters; Glen Cletis Dixon, Earnie Nolan Dixon, Lola Marie Fitzgerald, Delores Ilene Dixon Young, Fern Eythol Dixon Bayles and Freeda Imogene Dixon.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years James of the home; one grandson, Leslie Ramsey and his wife Angela of Dunnegan; two great-grandsons, Orion and Aydin Ramsey of Dunnegan, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 1, at Hartley Cemetery. Friends and family may call at their own convenience Thursday, Feb. 28, from noon until 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
