Daisy Morrison Armstrong passed away Jan. 24, 2019, in Centennial, Colorado.
Daisy Hammons was born Aug. 10, 1921, to Carrie and Edward Hammons. She was the ninth of 10 children. She married Denzil Dee Morrison on Dec. 21, 1937. They had one daughter, Sandra. They were married until his death in Aug., 1964.
On March 30, 1991, she married Charles Armstrong. They were married until his death in June, 2007.
She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. She remained a member of First Southern Baptist Church when she moved to Colorado.
Daisy worked at Hammons Walnut Plant in Stockton for many years. In 1965, she began her employment with the Stockton Telephone Company and worked in the office until her retirement in 1985.
In 2009, Daisy moved to the Denver, Colorado-area, to be close to her daughter, Sandra, and her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra and her husband David; grandchildren Troy, Jill, Gwen and Carl; great-grandsons Jeremy, Trent, Trevor and Greyson.
All of her siblings preceded her in death.
A memorial service for Daisy will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019, First Southern Baptist Church, Stockton. The community is invited to attend.
