Brenton Thomas Handly, 29, Nevada, passed away June 21, 2019, as a result of an automobile accident.
Brenton was born May 30, 1990 in Nevada, to Max Handly and Terry (Handly) Jones.
Brenton was raised in Nevada, graduating from Nevada High School in 2008. He was employed by Niece Products of Fort Scott as a painter, a job he loved.
Brenton enjoyed working on cars, being outdoors and hunting mushrooms.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Dennise and her children Treyton, Aiden and Ashlyn of Nevada; his daughters Nevaeh of Republic and Amelia of Nevada and Alexis Foreman of Nevada, his girlfriend; his brother John Pippin and wife Kim of Joplin; and sister Tallie Moscato of Nevada; grandmothers Peggy Jones of Stockton and Rosalie Handly of Nevada; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Brenton was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Sid Jones of Stockton, Thomas Handly of Nevada and his brother-in-law Michael Moscato of Jefferson City.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019, Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Committal Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 1, at Moore Cemetery, Nevada.
