Dear Editor,

There will be a SB 391 public forum, Wednesday, June 5, 7 p.m., at the Cedar County Courthouse.

Join the people of Cedar County, who reject the negative life impacts promised by SB 391 extermination of local control, for a respectful civil forum. Learn more about the background of this legislative atrocity, including foreign corporate ownership of Missouri farmland and disemboweled authority of Department of Natural Resources to protect us from water and air pollution; legal remedies and probable alternative impacts on our lives.

Bring your concerns and questions, expect answers from people with many years of experience protecting Missouri’s independent farmers and rural landowners from the negative impacts of corporate-owned industrial agriculture. For more information, contact Cheryl Marcum,
