The second annual Farm to Fork summit will be held Tuesday, Feb. 11, at First Assembly Of God, 3845 Old Mo. 13, Osceola.

The annual gathering highlights numerous topics regarding local agriculture. 

Guests will hear from buyers like Heather Wirsig, Food Service Director at Warrensburg R-VI School District. Wirsig is working with area farmers to source locally produced allergen-free products. 

The event’s keynote speaker, Marshall Stewart, University of Missouri Vice Chancellor for Extension, will discuss growing Missouri's economy with regional food and farming networks. 

This year’s Farm to Fork Summit also aims to network farmers, distributors, buyers, educators, and community members — all focusing on building rural health and wealth with local food.

Tickets are available for $30 per person and $50 for exhibitors, the cost of which includes a lunch featuring locally-sourced food items.
