Three KOPS and nine TOPS met and weighed in Tuesday, May 21, at Freewill Baptist Church. There was a tie between Marci and Stacey for best loser. Alissa won the popsicle contest and Marci won the lose-to-win contest. The Mardi Gras contest was introduced.

Thought for the week: Happiness comes a lot easier when you stop complaining about your problems and start being grateful for all the problems you don’t have.

Two KOPS and 13 TOPS met and weighed in Tuesday, May 14, at Freewill Baptist Church. Lynette was the best loser for the week and also won the popsicle contest. Carol won the lose-to-win contest.

Carol gave the treasurer’s report. We signed a birthday card for Kate.

Alma, Jean, Maddie and Melissa attended State Recognition Days, with the theme of Dreams Do Come True. Maddie was our chapter royalty.

A motion on how to split the free membership our club received at SRD carried. A motion to put $30 in the Recognition Days fund carried.

Maddie read a funny story and then it was time for the thought for the week: Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what will be.
