OVEMBER 2, 2021 SPECIAL ELECTIONABSENTEE VOTING AVAILABLE Absentee Ballots for the November 2, 2021, Special Election, will be available starting Tuesday September 21, 2021 in the office of the County Clerk, Kay Brown, 100 W. Church, Room 304, in the Christian County Courthouse. (Absentee voting may be done in person or by mail) Voters, who would like to vote in person, may come to the County Clerk's Office Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 30, 2021, prior to the Election. Requests for an Absentee Ballot can be done by mail, fax, email or in person, by his or her guardian or relative. The absentee application is available on the Christian County Website at https://www.christiancountymo.gov/offices/county-clerk/absentee-voting/ All absentee applications Must be received in the County Clerk's Office no later than October 20th, 2021, the second Wednesday prior to the election. 1. The request shall be in writing. 2. Shall state the applicant's name. 3. Address at which he or she is registered. 4. His or her reason for voting absentee. 5. Church, Room 304 Ozark, MO 65721 Reasons for voting by Absentee Ballot include: 1. Absent on Election Day. 2. Incapacity or confinement due to illness or physical disability. This does include the caregiver for that person. 3. Religious belief or practice. 4. Employment as an election authority or by an election authority 5. Persons in federal service, their spouses and dependents. 6. Certified participation in the address confidentiality program established under sections 589.660 to 589681 because of safety concerns.
