METAL BUILDING HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS AGRICULTURE ANNEX REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL GUIDELINES All Metal Building Request for Proposals must adhere to the following: A. RFP's must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Stockton School District Superintendent's office located at 906 South Street, Stockton, Missouri. Proposals will be opened on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the Board of Education meeting. Bidders are to contact Rod Barnes, Director of Buildings and Grounds for any questions or bid specification clarification. B. All RFP's are to be sealed in an envelope or folder and labeled Metal Building/ High School. D. Successful bidder will provide the District a Certificate of Insurance. E. All work must be completed no later than June 30, 2019. F. Concrete Work & Building: Grade and Concrete work shall include the following: • dirt or gravel pad- leveled and compacted • footings according to building manufacturer to support structure • 60' x 80' concrete pad 4" thickness with 1/2' steel reinforcement rod on 2' centers with gravel base • Building shall be as follows: • A blueprint or structural drawing must be provided from the manufacturer • 60ft x 80 ft x 14ft Structural steel frame with an • 4 inch insulation kit • 26 ga metal sides and roof • 2 ea 3'0"x 7' walk in doors attached 16'x 80' lean-to • 3 ea 12'x16' overhead insulated doors • 2 ea gable exhaust fans The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or reject any or all bids or any part of any bid. No bid for the construction, alteration, or repair of any building shall be accepted if it does not conform to the Board approved plans and specifications. The winning contractor shall receive monthly payments for the work completed, less a percentage to be determined to ensure completion. The contractor must have or acquire a City of Stockton contractors license and acquire all necessary permits to begin construction and meet all inspections required by the city throughout construction. The contractor may be required to submit a performance bond and a material and labor bond to the satisfaction of the Board. The final payment shall be made only after acceptance of the project by the Board of Education and completion of items to be corrected. Lien waivers shall be provided by the contractor and his subcontractors and suppliers.
