The newly renovated location of Stockton Lake Properties sits ready for its dedication and community-wide open house scheduled for the weekend of July 5-6.

The Stockton-Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a ribbon-cutting for local real estate company Stockton Lake Properties, LLC, 1 p.m., Friday, July 5, at 710 South St. — a property recently renovated and repurposed as a showcase property for the local realty company.

The property also was known to the Stockton community for years as the home of Joe Fox, warmly remembered by area residents as the man who waved at anyone and everyone from his front porch.

In addition to the ribbon-cutting event, Stockton Lake Properties will host a two-day open house, 10 a.m., Friday, July 5, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, July 6, at its new location.

“When the opportunity to purchase this property presented itself, it just made sense to me and for us as a company,” Emily Mehl, broker and owner of Stockton Lake Properties said. “Based on the interest and the overwhelming response in redoing what’s known as ‘the Joe Fox place’ we wanted to open the new location to the community as well as share information about the variety and depth of services we provide in the local real estate marketplace.”

Light refreshments will be available during the two-day event and Stockton Lake Properties representatives will be on hand to answer questions regarding all facets of real estate services the company provides throughout Stockton and the greater Cedar County area.

Additional information regarding Stockton Lake Properties can be obtained by calling the company’s office 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday at 276-4295.

Interested parties, community residents, lake-goers and those in need of real estate services  are welcome to attend.
