Katharine Hoffman, 71, of Stockton, passed away Friday, Nov. 19, at Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar.
Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was born and raised in Stockton, Missouri. She married Darrell Hoffman in 1967. They were married for 46 years prior to his death in 2013. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, houseplants, sewing, reading, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Haines; mother Lois Haines; and husband Darrell.
Survivors include her two children, Angela Hoffman of Springfield, and Jennifer and husband, Nathan, of Kansas City; five grandchildren, Corey, Claire, Jack, Alex and Jonah; sister Millie Hallberg of Stockton; brother James Haines of El Dorado Springs; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She also left behind her most faithful K-9 companion, Loki.
Graveside service was held Tuesday, Nov. 23, at Hamby Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Brumback Funeral home.
