Mrs. Dwerlkotte-Ray, 55, Stockton, died Wednesday, April 6, at home. She was born in Fort Hood, Texas, to Sylves Allen and Martha Eloise (Smith) Dwerlkotte. She grew up in Long Beach, California, and married Bobby Ray. She owned Karen’s Kritter Karen animal shelter in California.
Survivors include her father, Sylves Allen Dwerlkotte of Stockton; her mother, Martah Eloise Kurtz-Strawn; a daughter, Wanda Elise Dwerlkotte-Bardy; a brother, Dean Allen Dwerlkotte; a niece, Jessica Elise Ellis; and a nephew, Johnathon Bryon Ellis.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Springfield Dog Training Club.
