Clayton “Clay” Hibbard, of Stockton, was born June 26, 1964, and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021.

Clay was a devoted family man. His family came before anything — except his wife. He adored her more than anything. Their love is strong and admirable.

Clay was a giver to all, storyteller to many, a handyman to anyone who needed help, a mechanic at work and at home, and a farmer.

He would do anything for anybody. He knew no stranger; anybody he would talk to would instantly become his friend. Everyone knew he was a blessing.

In his free time, he loved traveling, fishing, hunting, target shooting and spending time with his dogs, which you would always see his family right beside him.

Friends and family gathered at his home to celebrate his life on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

Clay was a simple man who loved helping anyone he could and was always putting everyone before himself. In honor of Clay, take a minute and help someone, even if it’s just a smile. Clay always had a smile and happiness about him. Let’s keep his smile alive.

Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes because for those who love with heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation.

His legacy will be carried with his family until they are together again
