It may be February, but July city fireworks were a topic of conversation when the Stockton Board of Aldermen met at city hall on January 27 for the regularly scheduled meeting. The city recently asked for firework display bids but had only received one bid. Bidding, however, is still open. Price and availability are the problems with finding a licensed fireworks business to do the show. However, if the one bid is finalized at the next meeting, the city fireworks display will be on June 28.
