The El Dorado Springs Police Department reported the following incidents from Jan. 22-31 and Feb. 1-4.

Monday, Jan. 22: Officers responded to a larceny at 512 S. Summer. The investigation revealed the theft of a wallet, four pair of boots and two plastic swords. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 300 E. Thompson concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of coins and tools. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Tuesday, Jan. 23: Officers arrested Carmen M. Acuna, 33, El Dorado Springs, on a municipal warrant, for failing to appear to answer a charge of a dog running at-large, with a $100.50 bond. She was released on bond.

Wednesday, Jan. 24: Officers arrested Jesse M. Hill, 35, El Dorado Springs, on an El Dorado Springs municipal warrant charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of assault,with a $275.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 215 W. Gay concerning an assault report. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Thursday, Jan. 25: Officers arrested Gary J. Greathouse Jr., 20, El Dorado Springs, on a Vernon County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license, with $151 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers arrested Michael S. Brigman, 48, Nevada, for possession of drug paraphernalia; and a Cedar County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance, with a $500 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Friday, Jan. 26: The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to a burglary report at 122 W. Martin. The investigation revealed the theft of a Briggs and Stratton generator. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1601 S. Vernon concerning a larceny. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to a larceny at 100 E. U.S. 54, Casey's General Store.

Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department served a search warrant at 113 W. Broadway after receiving information of illegal drug activity. Evidence of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia and stolen property from recent burglaries were located. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Amber C. Moore, 30, Richard A. Guyton, 51, Carmen G. Tucker, 31, and Nicholas R. Robbins, 35, all of El Dorado Springs, charging them with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released on summonses pending additional charges.

Saturday, Jan. 27: Officers responded to 222 W. Olive Street concerning a domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of James A. Mansell, 34, El Dorado Springs, on charges of assault. He was released on a summons pending a court appearance.

Sunday, Jan. 28: Officers arrested Joseph J. Roberts, 39, Moundville, on a Nevada municipal court warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on charges of driving while license was revoked and driving without proof of insurance with a $853.50 cash bond. He was transferred to the Nevada Police Department pending a court appearance.

Wednesday, Jan. 31: Officers responded to 615 N. Main St. concerning theft of utility service.

Thursday, Feb. 1: Officers arrested John Jacob Cox, 36, El Dorado Springs, on a municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear to answer to a charge of trespassing, with a $729.50 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Friday, Feb. 2: Officers arrested Amanda M. Bell, 24, El Dorado Springs, on three Vernon County warrants for probation violation on the original charges of burglary and two separate counts of possession of a controlled substance with no bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending a court appearance.

Saturday, Feb. 3: Officers arrested Chelsea S. Duncan, 24, El Dorado Springs, on an El Dorado Springs municipal warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of disturbing the peace, with a $517.50 bond. She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle, Apt. 39, concerning a disturbance of the peace. The investigation led to the arrest of Scott R. Greathouse, 19, El Dorado Springs, on a charge of disturbing the peace. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers arrested Brandon C. Daniels, 35, El Dorado Springs, on a warrant issued by the Bates County Sheriff's Office for second-degree assault, armed criminal action and felon in possession of a firearm. He was released to Bates County Sheriff's deputies.

Sunday, Feb. 4: Officers responded to 406 S. Ohio St. concerning a burglary in progress. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Carissa R. Murr, 65, Overland Park, Kansas, and Michael R. McCormick, 58, Kansas City, on a probable cause charge of burglary, property damage and trespassing. Also they were reported missing from residential care settings. Murr and McCormick were released to their guardians pending charges.

Officers responded to a larceny at 312 W. U.S. 54, Woods Supermarket. A report was taken and the investigation continues.
