Mrs. Neill, 96, Bolivar, died Thursday, Feb. 1, in Citizen Memorial Hospital Healthcare, Bolivar. She was born in Dunnegan to Johney and Hazel (Long) Holmes.
After graduation from Dunnegan High School, she attended and graduated from Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg. She taught school at Bear Creek and Stockton.
She married Ray Neill in November 1941, and had a son, Joe Ray.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Ray Neill and wife Suzy of Bolivar and Gary Robinson and wife Gay Lynn of Springfield; a daughter, Ramona Robinson Goth and husband Tom of Scottsdale, Arizona; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Neill and wife Alexa, Ian Goth, Brenna Goth and Gwyneth Neill; a sister-in-law, Mary Catherine Neill; and a faithful friend, Sandy Buchanan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years in 2000 and her parents.
