RONALD JAMES ‘JIM’ FLETCHER

Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs. Burial: Clintonville Cemetery. Mr. Fletcher, 70, El Dorado Springs, Missouri, died Saturday at his home. He was born in Avoca, Neb., the son of Sigal and Florence (Harriger) Fletcher.

He married Lona Davis, and six children were born: Virginia, Donna Kay, Wanda, Howard James and Daniel. He worked for 18 years at the shoe factory in El Dorado Springs until its closing. He also logged, hayed, worked on cars and for Harry Sumner at his saw mill.

In 1985, he married Donna Mae (Hammergren) Wooldridge, and acquired four stepchildren: Melissa, Calvin, Jeff and Eric. Before he retired in 2005, he worked at the Nevada Habilitation Center for 18 years.

Survivors include his wife, Donna M. Fletcher; seven children, Wanda Dunfield and husband Terry, Daniel Fletcher and wife Pam, Donna Kay Fletcher, Melissa Shore and husband Russ, Jeff Wooldridge and wife Michelle, Eric Wooldridge, all of El Dorado Springs, and Calvin Wooldridge and wife Becki of Stockton; grandchildren, Caleb Fletcher, Danielle Curtis, Dustin Johnson, Waylon Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Erica Mott, Travis Dunfield, Skylar Walters, Samantha Johnson, Bryce Wooldridge, Crystal Hicks, Austin Robertson, Marissa Smith, Zane Wooldridge, Hunter Wooldridge, Bristol Wooldridge and Gabriella Wooldridge; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Virginia; and a son, Howard James.

Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with the Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Burial followed in Clintonville Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.blandhackleman.com.
