Mrs. Lesmeister, 76, Butler, died Tuesday, March 6, at her home. She was born in Cedar County to Edward Lester and Antonia Henrietta (Cruzan) Hamilton.
She graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1960, then moved to Kansas City and worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone until her marriage in 1963 to Donald Lesmeister.
Survivors include a son, Michael Lesmeister and his wife Debbie, and their children Erin and Emily; a daughter, Jannette Ann Lesmeister, with her children Jessica and husband Matt Beabout, and their children Skylar and Dylan, Michael Edward Graham and Megan Land and their son Kanon; a son, Mark Lesmeister and wife Bonnie, and their children Cort and Luke; brothers, Edward, Byron, Paul, Phillip and Sammie; three sisters, Marjorie, Alice and Mary; and many cousins and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her husband in May 2016; parents; brothers, Charles, Don Lee, Kenneth and Lennie; and a sister, Kathy.
