Mr. Davis, 86, Stockton, died Friday, Jan. 5. He was born to John Polk and Lula (Richardson) Davis in Stockton.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Stockton Assembly of God Church, the Masons and the Order of the Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Grand Patron in 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Gayle Davis; children, Patty Burns and husband Ralph, James Davis and wife Teresa, Arthur Davis and wife Tracy and Laura Settle and husband Joel; grandchildren, Jason Burns and wife Kelli, Scott Burns and wife Tanya, Jami Rivera and husband Rick, Joni Caddell and husband Andy, Josh Davis, Eric Davis and Cinnamon, D.J. Davis and wife Jessica, Nathan Stockstill and wife Kayley; and great-grandchildren, Sadie, Zachary, Nicholas and Kaden Burns, Kaitlynn Johnmeyer, Juliana and Lucas Rivera, McKenna Caddell, Charity, Isaiah and Josephine Davis, Makenzie Smock, Lillie and Zoey Davis, Byron Stockstill and Lucas and Tempest Pierce.
