Mrs. Bredehoeft, 63, Kansas City, formerly of Concordia, died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at her home. She was born in Lamar, the daughter of the Fred and Georgia (Hudson) Bridges. She was a 1969 graduate of Stockton High School and following graduation, was employed at Hallmark Cards. While working at Hallmark, she met Dennis Bredehoeft, and they were united in marriage Dec. 11, 1971. She lived in Concordia most of her life where she was a homemaker, as well as owning and operating Brenda Bredehoeft Real Estate for several years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis; three daughters, Julie Knapp and husband John of Mount Vernon, New Hampshire, Kelly Harris and husband Danny of Kansas City and Karla Fraas and husband Joe of Conroe, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kaitlin, Libby, Emma, Nicholas, Brady, Chloe and Gabbi; three sisters, Barbara McGinnis of Independence, Betty High of Lee’s Summit and Lynda Hamilton of Oak Grove; two brothers, Freddie Bridges and James Bridges, both of Stockton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Ellen Bridges (in infancy) and Beverly Robertson.
