Disposition: Cremation. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Tucson, Arizona.

Mrs. Green, 91, Stockton, Missouri, departed this life at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility, Stockton, and went to be with the Lord Friday, April 10, 2015. She was born to William Grant and Estella May (Kenyon) Tannehill Nov. 6, 1923, in Taney County, Forsyth, Missouri.

Betty graduated from Manuel High School, Kansas City, Missouri, in April 1942. Betty attended a vocational school and got a degree in filing. Betty worked and retired from K-Mart.

Betty married Robert L. Bell, Dec.1, 1942. To this union a son, Robert E. Bell was born, Nov. 18, 1943, and passed April 5, 1977. Robert and Betty also had a daughter, Kathryn R. Bell, who died as an infant in March 1947. Betty later married Roy Clifford Green in April 1948. To this union one son, R. Mack Green, was born, Nov. 28, 1948.

Betty lived in many places. She moved to Stockton, Missouri, June 16, 1986, and made Stockton her home. Betty became a Christian in April 1942, and after moving to Stockton, was in attendance at Stockton Christian Church. Betty was an inspiration to all who knew her. She always took time to visit and share stories. She was a very caring and loving person.

Betty made arrangements many years ago to be cremated and her ashes to be placed in the Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona.

Betty is survived by her son, R. Mack Green and wife Rosa of Benson, Arizona. Betty’s siblings are waiting for her in heaven. Betty has many nephews and nieces.
