Stockton and El Dorado Springs have two weeks remaining before playing in the District 12 Tournament at Mt. Vernon High School which begins Monday, Feb. 19.
This week, Stockton visited Ash Grove, and El Dorado Springs went on the road to play Butler on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Stockton will entertain Pleasant Hope in a Mid-Lakes Conference game at 6 p.m. Friday,
Last week, the Bulldogs from El Dorado Springs lost at Buffalo 68-56 to end a three-game winning streak.
Stockton picked up its 14th win of the season Tuesday, Jan. 30, at home versus Marionville, 41-39, in a game neither team could get their offensive attack moving forward. The Tigers then lost to Strafford 67-54, Friday, Feb. 2.
The Tigers are led by the play of guards Jake and Drew Wheeler along with forwards Gannon Kenney, Jacob Greenlee and Clayton Hubbard. Silas Kenney and Haden Broksieck are among a corps of strong supporting players.
The Friday game with Pleasant Hope is courtwarming night. The following home game with Dadeville, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, is senior night for Stockton.
