Visitation: 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, Brumback Funeral Chapel. Service 2 p.m. Tuesday, chapel. Burial: Hall Cemetery. Mr. Hall, died Thursday at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility. He was born near Jerico Springs to Lorenza Dalphia and Estella M. (Owens) Hall, the youngest of four brothers and five sisters.

He married Nina F. Noffsinger June 26, 1941, and a daughter was born to the union. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and served in the Caribbean. After returning to Cedar County after the war, they moved to Kansas City where he worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 30 years. After 62 years, he returned to Cedar County in 2008 to live close to his daughter.

He was a 68-year member of Jerusalem Lodge No. 315 A.F.& A.M. and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 456 in Jerico Springs.

Survivors include a daughter, Estella S. Madden and husband Harry Jr. of Stockton; two granddaughters, Monica Madden and Tonya Madden; three great-grandchildren, Gabriel Beem and Megen and Mia Hippensteel, all of Independence; two nieces, Aretta Peach and husband Kenny of Stockton and Shirley Harris and husband Jim of Jerico Springs; three nieces-in-law, Anna Parrish and Madaline Parrish of El Dorado Springs and Marceile Sikes of Chelan, Wash.; and many grand- and great-grand nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Frances Hall Oct. 14, 1987; his parents, Lorenza Dalphia and Estella M. Hall; his brothers, sisters and in-laws, Rhoda Hall, Bessie Sikes and husband Charles, Lelia McCallister and husband Arthur W., Corda Hall and wife Gladys, Grace Parrish and husband Albert and Aleta Buck and husband Roades; two infant brothers; a brother-in-law, Clyde Noffsinger Jr.; three nephews, Dale Sikes, Meredith “Cap” Parrish and Albert Parrish Jr.; and a niece, Marguerite Elliott and husband Richard.

Visitation was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Brumback Funeral Chapel. Service followed at 2 p.m., with burial in Hall Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.brumbackfuneralhome.com.
